When we were expecting the twins they drilled us in safe sleep. No blankets, No Toys, No Bumper Pads and the list went on and on. However they never talked about the fact that your babies would find ways to stick their limbs through slats on the crib with feet and hands.
Get the breathable bumpers - they won't pause the suffocation risk , but will protect just form that!
