Sometimes I put the kids in their highchairs and give them something to do while I get dinner ready.  Tonight the toy of choice was a book.  She loves reading and we are so glad.

When Mom gets sick

I never fully appreciated my Mom and how much she did for us when she wasn't well until today.  Monday, Tuesday, flu in bed, and by Wednesday I was starting to feel better but when I was up and moving the first thing I ran into was this pile or mountain of laundry.  This is just one of them.  Enough with the sick let's get back in business...

New Software

After Krista smartened me up I thought it was time to give Lightroom a try.  I love it now but while I was trying to learn I must have said I was an Idiot like 5 times.  I couldn't understand how the program worked and wanted it to be easier.   Now though I think I have down the basics and it is just a matter of trying it over and over again.

It's almost Spring

Today Bruce came home from moving some boxes and suggested we go on a walk.  I jumped at the chance.  It was still on the cool side but things are starting to look up.  Yay for almost Spring it can't come fast enough.  

Becca and the Twins

My cousin Becca was in town and she introduced me to Hot Dog on a stick.  It was so yummy!!!

Playing with light

This was another homework assignment and it was to take a photo of your subject using window light.  What I learned is the best way to use window light is to stand in between your subject and the window then you won't get 1/2 in the shade and 1/2 in the light.  So much fun learning about my camera.  

Homework

As part of our class we got homework.  Here is my picture indoor no flash.  I love how much softer the light is without the flash.  One day I'll have to invest in a real flash but for now I will just have to live with what I have.

Photo Class with Krista

While Krista was in town on vacation she taught a class on how to use our SLR camera's and a bit on photo editing.  She was awesome as an instructor and I can't believe how much stuff is stored in that cute head.  Thanks for a great class.  Now I need to practice practice practice and maybe one day I'll day a picture that gives me goosebumps like the ones she takes...

Yay for Monday Night TV

I just love this show.  I don't know why and the dancing isn't great but Bruce and I always enjoy trying to guess what the judges are going to say.

Jimmer Time

With BYU doing so well we got into Basketball March Madness this year.  It was so fun to grab Cafe Rio and settle down for a great game.  What a fun night!

The face of Sunday

We were busy on Sunday with meetings and getting ready for church and this is how our cute little girl chose to take a nap.  I guess however you can catch some sleep on Sunday it is totally fine.  

Wedding Reception

Tonight I headed up to my cousin Brian's wedding reception.  However, Bruce had to work and I wasn't sure how to manage both babies by myself at a reception so I brought some friends along.  Thanks Aunt Laura and cousin Ciara for helping me out.  Congratulations to Brian and Kristen!!!!

Emma has figured out how to hold her bottle a little.  It is a happy day for me when they are holding their own bottle.

Safe Sleep?!?

When we were expecting the twins they drilled us in safe sleep.  No blankets, No Toys, No Bumper Pads and the list went on and on.  However they never talked about the fact that your babies would find ways to stick their limbs through slats on the crib with feet and hands.  

Minute to Win It

We love this game and for the pay-back dinner the girls wanted to play with the boys.  SO FUN!!!!  

Fun with Presley

After a crazy morning we got a phone call from the McGowns and they were on their way to fashion place and wanted to know if we could join in.  Of course it was a ton of fun shopping and looking but, even more fun is watching the twins with Stella and Presley.  I need to hire them because they are the BEST entertainment for the twins and so loving to them.

Today Tyler has taken his first crawl.  It is more like a knees and and launch forward.  Either way time to Baby Proof.

We have started watching this show and have stay up way to late at night trying to catch up.  The writing is interesting and it is set in the 60's and times were so different.

What Friday nights have turned into

Friday nights use to be date night however since things are so busy it is nice to stay  in.  Here is what we did on our Friday night.

Lots of play

At the end of the day my living room looks like this.  However, it also means that I spent fun time with the babies instead of cleaning up the toys.
